One among them is the beautiful Rimi Sen, the actress was born in the year 1981 on 21st September. She was born in the bong capital Kolkata which is also the heart of west Bengal. Since childhood the actress is fond of dance art. Rimi Sen is trained under the famed Kolkata-based Odissi trainer Guru Aloka Kanungo. She is well trained in the dance form of Odissi. The actress completed her schooling from the Bidya Bharati Girls High School in the year 1998. She went to the University of Calcutta for her graduation.

Rimi Sen had it inside her since childhood that she will become an actor. After she graduated she went to Mumbai aspiring to get a chance in the industry. According to her, her Grandfather was the only person who encouraged her then. After some trying she got the opportunity to act in some advertisements including one of a popular soft drink brand Coca – Cola ad with Aamir Khan. This ad gave her exposure to the industry and offers for movies started flowing in.

Her debut film was with Akshay Khanna and Aftab Shivdasani in the comedy blockbuster ‘Hungama’ in the year 2003. Her famous involvement was in the movie Dhoom in 2004 where she acted opposite to Abhishek Bachchan. After passing a hideous comment for the Black African people her career came to a dead stop though she managed her place in the Dhoom sequel.
